Israel: Regras atualizadas para aparelhos elétricos

 

Israel has published the Energy Sources Law (Amendment) 5784-2024.  It facilitates the imports of electrical appliances from the EU.

The proposed law amendment aims to reduce the cost of living by decreasing regulations on importing electrical products.

It adds a parallel import approval route that allows manufacturers and importers to submit proof that the product is included in an official European register instead of DoC. If this device is not required to be listed in a registry, then a proof that it is marketed in Europe will be required.
