Vietnam: New chemicals law

 

Vietnam has published a new Draft Chemical Law.

The Draft Chemical Law provides the framework for the development of the chemical industry, focusing on sustainable development and environmental and human safety in chemical-related activities, chemical-related products, the safety of chemical-related activities, the rights and obligations of organizations and individuals involved in chemical-related activities and the state management of chemicals.

It will revise the existing Chemical Law 2008.
