Vietnam: Updated list of regulated radio equipment

 

Vietnam has published an updated list of radio equipment subject to the national radio certification, the MIC certification run by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The changes are contained in the Draft Circular providing amendments for the Circular No.04/2023/TT-BTTTT dated May 31, 2023 specifying the List of products and goods with unsafe capability under management responsibility of Ministry of Information and Communications.

The changes apply both to information and communication products and goods subject to mandatory certification and declaration, as well as to information and communication products and goods subject to mandatory declaration 8which are the two types of national conformity assessment for ICT equipment).

The changes boil down to several new equipment types in scope, and several updated radio standards (QCVNs).
