Brazil published a Regulatory Agenda of its National Institute of Metrology Standardization and Industrial Qualityfor INMETRO for the biennium 2022/2023. The Agenda is contained in the Imetro Ordinance No. 525/2021.
The Agenda mentions more or less 20 product groups whose technical legislation will be affected (updated, consolidated, repealed, etc.) in the coming two years.
Among these product groups are for example: Road tank vehicles, Taximeters, Natural gas flow measurement instruments, Motor vehicle speed meters, Electric energy meters, etc.
INMETRO is the Brazilian product conformity assessment system. It comprises many different product groups and, in most cases, requires a local certification and labelling.
